Blender on an SGI Indigo2 R10000 MAX IMPACT @ 195MHz - Irinikus - 11-13-2019

This video shows Blender test performance on an SGI Indigo2 R10000 MAX IMPACT @ 195MHz.

Here's where this machine fits in as far as Blender 2.45 is concerned:

One thing that it does show is how powerful the MAX IMPACT hardware was, as this machine closely matches my O2 R12K@400MHz, when it comes to gaming performance!

If I recall, that was something that bit SGI back in the day - some sales people desperately trying to push the latest product and persuading companies to upgrade their Indigo2s to newer O2s, despite the Indigo2 having more capable graphics options. It didn't do SGI's credibility any good when a company spent a load of money on new systems - only to find out that they were no quicker than the ones they were replacing.
