V12 Card and xbox 1.3 Octane 2 -

What would happen if a V12 gfx was used on an Octane with XBow 1.3? Would the card operate as a V8 assuming the only difference between the V8 and V12 is the geometry speed. Thoughts?
I am having a hard time sourcing a back place with XBow 1.4.

You will need a XBow 1.4.
Unfortunately they're quite pricy, if you buy them as single units:

Yeah.. I see that. I have a V12 board coming in that I bought a week or so ago. I remember seen a number of them on line last year but now they are getting hard to find.

Nice!
Hang in there and start an eBay search for a front-plane fitted with an Xbow 1.4. One's bound to pop up eventually!

I’m in Alberta Canada. I do have a 1.4 board coming from Mashek systems. So hopefully I will be in business soon.

Yeah.. I have been waiting a while to install this. I’m curious to see who much of a performance boost I will see in Maya 6.5 coming from a emxi gfx system.
BTW irinikis, I love your videos you have been posting.. keep up the great work..
