I just recently traded for the VX1-1600SW. Its a nice little card that allows for 1600SW usage on Windows machines int the 9x and NT era. I would also like to see if it works on Linux.

Saw it on ebay some time ago, it's a nice piece of hardware.
Dont' forget to tell us you rimpressions and its 3D capabilities under NT.

AFAIK, it should be supported on Linux with the "glint" X.org driver. You may need to set the "UseFlatPanel" option to "on" to use the 1600SW.

No. There's no driver support for it under IRIX. It was made for x86 machines.
