log = error "invalid SSN value " so i do this L1>> serial set P1001291 , then Power ON again , Log is FIX SSN, i wonder my DS1742W still a good ??

now my log in below picture 1 , Log = ALLERT: "SNOWBALL EEPROM read error , no acknowledge " & PS 2 EEPROM board info checksum error"

Can any help me to explain what is the failure.

i continue to boot form disk is OK

Hmm,

I'd say the snowball error refers to a DM3 that could have been there once and was removed in order to install a V12.
That brick has also been part of a 2-brick setup and complains about the missing brick.
Is the Pxxxxxxx-number you are trying to set the one on the label on the back of the brick ?
I once had a similar problem with my O350s which I eventually fixed with a L3-controller.

I am having a really similar issue with my v10 and Origin350. Snowball error, no serial number, xtalk error. Mine is down to a bad backplane.

For future searches, the "snowball error" is not an error. It just means there's no DM card installed.
