Nasa, Mars Rover Image Download Irix? -

I was watching this clip today. Random clip find. The 3D scenes were supposedly Rendered in Lightwave using a custom Renderman port by a guy named Daniel Maas.
But besides the 3D is the part of the clip where you see them downloading images at the end from the rover.
I see this window interface that looks a lot like an Irix window and text entries.
Anyone know anything about it?

Still, if you watch the clip I linked I am still wondering if the UI when the photos start coming up is Irix or some other unix?
Maybe it is old windows. I dunno, the text entry looks like Irix slightly even though the minimize, maximize, close window buttons look windowsy.

I see SUN keyboards and CDE desktops, so I'm gonna put my money on they are running Solaris
