I'm officially back - praetor - 05-20-2019
Howdy y'all
I have returned to administrative and founding duties of Irix Network after a long haitus due to my health.
As many of you know I suffer from psychotic depression. However, after spending a week in a neuropsych ward it has been discovered I actually have temporal lobe epilepsy. They've put me on a round of anti-convulsants which, have quite honestly, changed my life. My stress tolerance is pretty low without my anti-convulsants, and needed a break to get a handle on this and to step aside as the administrative duties of co-founding a community was causing some pretty severe instability.
I know my last breakdown was very public, and for that, I'm sorry. This has been something I've struggled with for almsot 11 years, after a brutal assault by a roomie which has left me with a lesion on my brain. I hope you all can forgive me.
That being said. I've done some cool stuff in my hiatus. I'm deeply involved with the tildeverse community, I have developed the largest UUCP network currently on the internet, and have a little tilde/pubnix service running on an Indy.
So I haven't totally been idle.I look forward to being involved in the community again and hope we can all do some cool shit!!!

Welcome back.
I also had to take some time off to think, after the untimely demise of a guy I went to school with.
I don't have a tilde page. But I am working on my own self hosted little site - to try and recapture some of the spirit of the old internet, the way it was...before it got ruined.

It's really great to have him back.
I was never satisfied with the way that things ended and I definitely played my own part in making the situation worse.
All in all it's nice to have a friend who is so talented and helped make this place into what it is today. I am really hoping that we can make this community even better.
