How do I get Netscape installed in IRIX 6.5.30 - Printable Version

How do I get Netscape installed in IRIX 6.5.30 - Irinikus - 04-02-2019

Quite a few of the Octane demo's require Netscape to be installed in order for them to work, so I therefore need Netscape to be installed in IRIX 6.5.30.

Where would I find the necessary install files?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

IRIX 6.5.x Applications disc, up to 6.5.28.

If you want to get nostalgic, I have many versions on FTP: ftp://ftp.jurassic.nl/pub/irix/netscape/

Will I get the correct version of Netscape from the IRIX 6.5.22 Apps CD?

As I'm currently downloading it off the FTP (It's taking for ever!)

No, that's what used to be on ftp.netscape.com

SGI had their own "branded" versions on the application discs.

I have 100Mb/s FTTH and all is quiet on my end...

I was able to successfully install Netscape from the IRIX 6.5.22 Apps CD, so I now have the demos that require it up and running!
